Intensive Interval
Aerobic training is possible to do in many ways, so what is going to happen with body builders? Well according to HIIT it is a very important factor which makes fast twitch muscle fibres work, but just for a short period of time. This result is two effects: we burn more calories than we would do with monotone trainings, and because the training is short, we don’t have to be frightened of muscle breakdown.
Altering intensive and less intensive periods in the training serves the purpose of improving effectiveness of the training. The oxygen capacity uptake of the lungs increases, so the body can take a bigger load without a huge effort.
The other advantage of intensive interval training is that it will boosts your carbohydrate metabolism, so the body can use up carbohydrates quicker, so it gains energy faster. The elevated lactic acid level in the muscles causes pain, (muscle fever), so many sportsmen have to take a short break from exercising because of this. Those who do intensive interval training seldom complain about pain in the muscles, because as the threshold increases, so they can tolerate elevated lactic acid level better.
